In productions that explore complex themes such as racially insensitive language, LGBTQI+ issues or other sensitive subjects, our Inclusive Storytelling sessions provide tailored support to make sure these topics are handled with care and respect. These sessions support companies in navigating the emotional and ethical considerations of safely bringing the stories of everyone to life while safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved.

What we look at:

·      Learning how to use inclusive and respectful language when discussing sensitive themes.

·      De-roling Techniques - supporting company members in safely stepping out of emotionally intense roles after rehearsals or performances.

·       Look at sitting within and exploring difficult themes while maintaining a supportive environment.

·      Understand the emotional and psychological impact of challenging material.

Facilitators will read the script and collaborate with the creative team to ensure the session is aligned with your specific needs.

Duration: Flexible but usually around 90 minutes
